Fuji ended up getting bladder cancer. Because of my position at the hospital I was able to make some connections and get drugs to treat his cancer at cost. I know it bought us some quality time that last year. This picture was taken a month after his diagnosis. I always keep fresh herbs in my garden. Besides the obvious use in cooking the dogs rub up against them and the herbs act as a wonderful perfume. My favorite is the rosemary. Here Fuji is next to my chives.

Probably the most common seaweed found around here in shallow water. This is Bladder Wrack ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fucus_vesiculosus ).

I photoshoped the blue by a bit down, and enhanced the colors a bit to bring out the deep greens and yellows.
