I created the chart using KG-Chart LE.
Pattern from "The New Carolingian Modelbook" - black silk, black/gold twist, bright gold on belfast linen.
Worked in Holbein stitch, in double-ply thread of indeterminate fibre over two linen threads per stitch. Pattern from the Blackwork Archives. The pattern has alternating right-side-up/upside-down lilies, though I may do a row of either three or five just like this one, without reversing.
Pattern adapted from one in "Celtic Art" by George Bain. Red silk on natural linen. Motif used as a "scatter" on a cushion top.
