The little blackwork fox, rear leg almost done. Chest on its way, with a floral / leaves design (all designs courtesy of Kim Brody Salazar).

This is from a picture I worked. The holbein stitches are called blackwork even though they're worked in coloured threads, there are gold sequins and gold thread for the stems and the outline edges of the butterfly wings. The body, leaves and flowers are edged in coral stitch. Inspired by my garden.
