Today, for just a few minutes, i turned off the music, turned off the tv set, switched off my laptop and just sat, alone, on the floor. I closed my eyes and just tried to clear my head..
I have never meditated properly or fully understood how to.. but it felt nice to listen to the silence.
My favourite place to just be like this, is The Chalice Well in Glastonbury (west country, UK). It is a natural spring, water has never failed (so the rumour goes) since before king arthur's time. It is a pagan place of worship and i, despite my mixed belief system, find it a place of magic.. it is the one place my soul rests and i feel at peace. I can't explain it, it's as though i can feel the energy in the earth flow through me with a fluidity that totally relaxes me. (am i sounding like a loon yet?!)
I haven't been there for about 2 years now and i am desperate to go back.. it's like my church.
i never thought i'd say this but i'm becoming quite accustomed to life in quarantine. the sun is pouring in the windows and my symptoms are beginning to subside.. i have my boy here 24/7 and time on my hands to edit photography :)
today i'm a happy hannah :)

I haven't been doing any digital photographs lately.. Kinda itching to do so.. I wish the weather would just warm up.
I also felt like taking an artsy fashiony photo with my new purse that my mother gifted me with. Likely one of the nicest purses I've come to own besides the usual dirty ratty messenger bag that fits my camera and all my crap together.
I love how soft of warm this photo feels...

Pensei em várias coisas que me obrigam a meditar antes de esmaltar e, uma das que mais me irritam é esmalte escuro que não sai direito quando a gente limpa os cantinhos.
Neste caso, usei o Preto da Impala. Ele é tudo isso que dizem, cobriu com uma camada e tem um brilho incrível! Porém, ele grudou em tudo quanto foi pele que tinha nos meus dedos. Limpar a cutícula foi difícil e acabei por esfregar tanto que fiquei com os dedos doloridos.
Resolvi desencalhar o Telescópio da Cora e, gente, que esmalte estranho!
Ele é o dementador dos esmaltes, porque ele suga o de baixo! Nunca vi isso: enquanto seca vão surgindo uns riscos na superfície e acaba ficando tudo opaco.
Passei 3 camadas de top coat da Ideal e mesmo assim não ficou totalmente liso.
Apesar da sofrência, o Telescópio permanecerá na coleção devido a esses brilhos multicoloridos que se destacam em diferentes iluminações.
O resultado final é até que satisfatório mas vou esperar um dia de paciência para usar os dois novamente.

Painted my nails black today..soo tired of the reds & pinks & purples! So it's fun color time.
It is super hot today - 90* - so it's been pretty much an indoor day. Living so close to the beach, I should take advantage of that but..maybe in a few weeks! Busy weekend ahead .. hope everyone has a great one!!

A common yellow swallowtail caterpillar (Papilio machaon), also known as the old world swallowtail muching away at its host plant, the purple angelica (Angelica gigas) in my mother-in-law's garden.

Passei o Siq Floc preto (da Siquiplás por cima do Boysh (capricho).
A única dificuldade é que o pó flocado estava um tanto empelotado, aí complica a vida, né!?
Suja um tanto as mãos (por isso ignorem minha mão meio preta, pois passei hoje). Mas estou adorando o resultado!
Ainda não sei o quanto dura, pois passei há pouco, mas curti mesmo!
Agora quero rosa e e roxo! rs E vermelho, se achar!
