The Final Maneuver in Hubie’s Air Show Performance:
The Finale: Hubie will pull the Sukhoi into a vertical climb at crowd center. While going straight up, Hubie will kill the magneto switches, completely stopping the engine and propeller. The aircraft then slides backwards toward the ground, and as gravity works, the nose swings around the tail. With the prop still stopped, Hubie pushes the airplane along the full length of the show line inverted, gliding, in total silence. It is a dramatic ending of a breathtaking performance.
Truman.
This is the boiler house chimney at the old Truman brewery in Brick Lane, East London. Truman's Brewery was a large East London brewery and one of the largest brewers in the world at the end of the 19th century. Founded around 1666, the Black Eagle Brewery was established on a plot of land next to what is now Brick Lane in London, E1. It grew steadily until the 18th century when, under the management of Benjamin Truman, and driven by the demand for porter, it expanded rapidly and became one of the largest brewers in London.
