First of all, I apologize for the fuzzy, mediocre photos here; The Dining room was pitch black, and I wanted to use the lowlight mode on my camera, since there were couples sitting around us for Valentines, and I did not want to disturb them with the flash going off all of the time.
That said, this Tiny Crabcake was awesome! The lumpcrab was formed into bitesize portions, but mostly without heavy batter, so they tasted purely of Crab. From the left, it was Mango Salsa, Center is Remoulade, and the Right is an Asian inspired Tomato thingy. All I now is, I ordered a Trio, but My Mother and her friend stole two of them..... *&^%@!!
My images from this year's "bitesize" Bermondsey Carnival in Southwark Park. The Bandstand is a lovely backdrop.

A Black Swan Event (def): an unexpected high impact occurrence, yet one which, it is later concluded, was 'bound to happen'.
It is early. Very early. Those who are game find a reason to get up and out, whilst those who are not snooze on. Up on Collie’s Reach two strangers' paths cross. You know how it is: you get chatting, make conversation, to be polite. As it transpires Meryl and Jamie chare a lot more than their appearances betray. Buried misunderstandings come home to roost as the two realise that some wishes just won't fly.

Yesterday (Sunday August 7 2011) I was invited to attend the above workshop titled "Understanding Western Classical Music" at the Esplanade Theatre. This being one of the "bitesize workshops being held at the Esplanade Theatre until December 2011.
We were promised two hours of fun in this interactive workshop with Leslie Tan - the cellist of Singapore's international string ensemble, the T'ang Quartet - and that is precisely what we got!

Originally by Luxirare, but I found the recipe on bakerella. Mine are filled with berries. I had no fruit around so I just microwaved some frozen mixed berries with some sugar and cornflour. This is my second attempt because I couldn't find a curcular cutter last time I tried, and they were messy and not very pretty. This time I was more careful, but it's difficult to make them compleetely tidt. Sorry about my truly shitty camera
some of the many pretty mini cupcakes at my brother's wedding dinner reception. i didnt even get to eat them (not that i would, cos they're just too pretty!).
amazing icing details with an amazingly lucrative profit per bite (each of this mini things cost SG$1.50).
It is, of course, a very small, efficient cup.
THIS was in the mail today, unannounced and unexpeted! It is fantastic!
Or arancini. Or mozzarella-stuffed risotto balls. Whatever you call them: yum. Recipe at The Kitchen Sink.
