Running as 4M34 rather than a 6 headcode 66315 swings onto the L&Y Up Slow at Healy Mills B Junction to take its booked stop of 27 minutes, just enough time to nip to Thornhill LNW Junction for a second bite at the 05:45 Drax to Tuebrook Sidings.
afternoon tea in the garden sunshine eating freshly made bite size pancakes drizzled with marmalade and raspberry jam and a dollop of homemade yoghurt
i made some yesterday in the frying pan. what a hopeless mess!
today i had a chat with my sisterinlaw who gave me a couple of tips. it's a long time since i've made pancakes. well, that's my excuse :)
i thought now i'll have another go but this time using the roti maker.
i made far too many. as tasty as they are that's a lot of calories on the plate for a snack :) next time i'll freeze at least half

Just happened to have the camera pointed the right direction to catch this guy biting a plug out of the other camel.
This Little blue heron (Egretta caerulea) was in the shadow of the boardwalk and the water was reflecting the sky for an almost all blue affair. This time I did see the little fish and clicked the shutter in time.
It may have been a little tricky to reach that trophy bite. but this Red-headed Woodpecker did not hesitate when he flew up to this feeder.
The seed log, or what's left of it, still has a lot to offer. And some birds, like Mr. Red Head, know exactly where the best bites can be found. It's a well-kept secret, but easily found if you know where to look.
Now to fly off with that yummy chunk of goodness before anyone sees! But where he's taking it, we can only guess.
