Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!

The line in the corner is distracting, and i think I ruined my white box shooting this. Its theater blood. and it stains.

I got the idea for this series today while I was thinking about how stressful things were and What I needed to do about it. After much thought I decided I needed to just man up and do it. Thats where this concept came from. I know its poorly executed but it gets my point across.

Barrels & Bites, the ultimate festival of drinks and auction returned to the Tuscany Ballroom at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Friday, Sept. 26. The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is the official benefactor of the annual event where more than 3,000 attendees enjoyed hundreds of specialty wines, beers and spirits, alongside a large selection of hors d’oeuvres and desserts and participated in silent and live auctions.
