A bit late with the caption here, but as my esteemed Flickrites have made their feelings known with this scan all thats left to add that its Bolton's Moor Lane bus station in the early 70s with two fine Ribble vehicles in view.
The Harvest Moon from Friday the 13th rises behind the Lubec Channel Lighthouse, known as the “Spark Plug” due to its shape. Cormorants love to sit on the railing and roof at this lighthouse, and their silhouettes can be seen here against the moon.

Hey guys!
It's been quite a while since I last posted a figure - things have been a bit busy lately with university and everything.
So I recently got my hands on the new Brick Affliction Division set. I have to say, it's awesome to have Andy sculpting again, and this set is no exception to his awesome track record thanks to him and Josiah.
I tried hollowing out the beanie that comes with the figure to use all the Brick Affliction elements, but that didn't work out so well and I ended up ruining it. So, when my package from Richard at G-Bricks arrived, I decided to use those parts to replace it.
The set is pictured here with the G-Bricks Trappers hat and respirator mask, as well as the ACR that comes with the G-Bricks 'Task Force Operator' set, which has a Tiny Tactical ACOG Scope attached to it.
I really hope you guys enjoy this figure, I will leave a link in this description when the showcase for this figure is up on my YouTube channel tomorrow!
EDIT: Link to showcase on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5MNwwL2c84
A bit later in the morning, the sun broke over the ridge and began making great shadows on the snow. I captured some black and white 35mm here but didn't finish off the roll. Soon enough I will get it processed and upload it here.
I'd like to climb this mountain someday. And I'd also like to get the shot from the Illumination saddle. Soon!
Enjoy! Your comments are appreciated.

Cold Sunset last bit of sunshine is reflecting on the clouds in this late Fall photograph shot in North Carolina.
Our Daily Challenge ... leading lines.
I could probably have made more use of the leading lines here by moving further away so I'm not sure if they really work in taking the eye to the flowers in this case..
A bit of water, a bit of mud, a bit of reflection, a bit of light, a bit of a mess but I like it :)

Morning! Bit of exciting news, one of my photos (my Snowdon Wild Camp) has been featured in the October issue of Trail Magazine! (Image in the comments below).
Moving onto this mornings shot, it is one I've had on my dream shot list for quite some time and failed to achieve on a few attempts previously. So here we have the Milkyway at Durdle Door on the Jurassic Coast, Dorset.
Astrophotography is by far my favourite kind of photography, unfortunately up in the Peak District we get very few clear skies at night and even if we're lucky enough to get a clear sky, the light pollution generally washes out all but the brightest of stars. Heading down to Dorset with our main aim being to capture the Milkyway, you can imagine my sheer excitement when on the first night there, the sky was perfectly clear! Topped off by a show of the tail end of the Perseids Meteor shower!
Unbeknown to us at the time, it wasn't the only clear sky we were to be treated to, watch this space... Glad to have ticked this one off the list.

Gooood Morning !!!
I have had a few flickrmail asking what has happened to the photoshop side of me !
And to be honest..I just got bored with it. The end of the 365 projects has took away the need for me to be pushing my creativity.
And I was starting to enjoy doing weddings and portraits again. But after a crazy few months and a few more flickrmail asking me to upload something ha ha ha
I decided to have another go at one I did a while back...just to see if I could still do it !
This has turned out sort of according to plan...It is very similar to the first one... just more colour and it was a little harder to do all the layer work on this one.
And I remember the first one took me 2 hours...while this has just took 45 minutes !
The image has a total of 36 layers and around 22 masks.. sounds complicated.. but it isn't. Its just a lot of shit to keep your eye on and remembering what layer does what !.
Oh yeah...and the birds are back !!! ha ha
WOW !!!! You people really have missed the photoshop stuff !!!!
Explored !! Thank you all !!

BIT OF A SAD DAY ON TWO ACCOUNTS!
Its my birthday and its got a "o" on the end.
My enthusiasm has waned for local birds, they seem so drab, but hey! the photography is far more challenging in the poor light and bad weather, so now thinking positive, lets hit the trail while I still can, and with CAMERA and ZIMMER frame lets be up and away!!!!
Thank you for your visit and comments it means a lot to such a old man!...lol.....Keep safe..Tomx

Lovely walk with my sister and her friend back in April. I'm finding the descents are harder on my knees than they used to be, seriously considering getting some walking poles.
A bit further north, you will find Ramberg beach – a long and shallow beach with many small rivers that flow across the beach. They are really fun to explore,My 500 link 500px.com/yiannispavlis my facebook www.facebook.com/YiannisPavlis4/ my instagram www.instagram.com/yiannispavlisphoto/Thanks for viewing!
A bit south of Westfield, IA, and less than a mile from where they cross over the Big Sioux River into South Dakota, the D&I's southbound road freight rolls through a big, sweeping curve towards the southeast that affords the photographer views of the train as it snakes around itself.
Speaking of snakes, just south of here is the Broken Kettle Grassland Preserve, which is home to Iowa's largest remaining prairie, over 200 bison, and where in 1999, the Conservancy found the prairie rattlesnake, an extremely rare species.
On the point is the DAIR 3025, a late-production SD40-2, built as the BN 8117 in 1980. Trailing it were the 3020 and 3027.
I was terribly sick for two days and I begin to' feeling better only today. So all the packages from my last BC update and my CC on PP are shipped only today, sorry. From the pic you can see I'm having a so needed shower and a don't needed iPhone new cover (but cute AND pink).(-:
i was on a tiny sliver of path going around a bend, with people and dogs needing to get around me...but i didn't give up on the scene like i sometimes would, and i'm glad. it took me a bit to gain solitude and decide on the framing. i probably could have spent an hour here, shooting off the entire roll. but i only pressed the shutter once. i think there were more people coming :)
Uploading two pictures this friday.. Well, I'll be out this weekend.. I have to study :P

The full moon setting a bit too far north than I was hoping. In the winter the full moon sets a long way north of west, and my poor guess at the position from this spot (it sets at 317 degrees) meant that I had to move almost to the south end of Hitter Hill to get the moon and Chrome Hill in frame (just) and Chrome and Parkhouse Hills are a bit too aligned for my liking
From Rerik I drove to Kühlungsborn. Another one of the old sea side resorts.
And like in the other towns with that kind of reputation I had difficulties adapting to them. I prefer smaller places with less people. Of course it was really nice just not really my type of place. At least not in direct comparison.

this is a handy little screwdriver that holds 5 small bits in the handle. The problem is that the bits don't stay in place. I think they're supposed to be held in by a magnet but it's not working. Can magnets lose their magnetism?

The fog was not widespread, either...it was isolated in one area, which was kind of interesting, too.
A bit of summer lovin' Common Green Shieldbug style!
We are still discovering the plants and creatures that we have in our 'new' garden (we've lived here for a year now!), and yesterday I discovered a colony of Common Green Shieldbugs.
The Common Green Shieldbug
(Palomena prasina) is large shieldbug with a dark wing membrane and reddish antennae (4th and 5th segments). Adults are bright green in the spring and summer, but finely punctured with dark marks. They become a darker bronze-brown prior to winter hibernation.
There is one generation per year; the nymphs feed on many deciduous trees and shrubs, and can be found from June to October. Later nymphs are often darker than those found earlier in the season.
The Common Green Sheildbug is common and widespread throughout Britain and Ireland in numerous habitats, as far north as southern Scotland.
A bit fuzzy but the moon was very dark by midnight when the eclipse was nearly total.
Thanks very much to friends who have stuck with my during my wait for Flickr to fix my commenting. I have wasted time each day trying a comment and tried a different browser but it still didn't work.
A bit of an insane scene on the streets of Chinatown when the parade is on. The parade goes down some extremely narrow streets that get to be next level crowded. If I could walk away with even one decent shot the day is a success in my book!

bit of a rarity here, only see them in migration, great looking bird
from cornell
A delicate dove-headed shorebird, the Buff-breasted Sandpiper is found primarily in migration in areas of short grass. It migrates primarily through the middle of the continent from its arctic breeding grounds to southern South America.
A bit of a birders' bird is an expression used by keen birders (ie birdwatchers) for a bird that is usually quite rare, but not very attractive or difficult to tell from similar species. So you would never use it for common birds like Rook or Shag, which can be difficult to tell from Crow and Cormorant. Nor would you use it for attractive scarce birds like Hoopoe or Bee-eater. But Water Pipit definitely fits the bill of a "birders' bird" because it is scarce and quite difficult to separate from other pipits.
There are about 400 Water Pipits that spend the winter on British wetlands having bred high in the mountains of southern Europe. But they are shy and elusive and usually difficult to get a close view like this. So how can you tell that this is a Water Pipit as opposed to any other pipit? It has to have a combination of features that uniquely identify it as such. Leg colour is difficult to see in pipits as they are small birds and wander around in vegetation, but you can see here it has dark legs, whereas most pipits have noticeably pale legs, with only Rock and Water Pipits having dark legs. Next it has a pale eyebrow known as a supercilium, which isn't usually shown by Rock Pipit. Its outer tail feathers are pure white whereas they are usually grey in Rock Pipit. It also has whiter underparts and less smudgy breast streaks compared with Rock Pipit. And the lack of dark streaks on the back plus the soft, not crisp black breast marks are features that would separate it from Meadow Pipit (along with leg colour). Habitat is another good pointer as in winter Water Pipits are rarely far from water, and of course the call, a loud "fiist" is a clincher, but it does sound very like Rock Pipit. I photographed this Water Pipit in the Dearne Valley near Barnsley in South Yorkshire. It was trotting along when I took this so you can see one foot raised, a bit like pipit dressage.
