I had thought bread and butter but biscuits won the day. I like Figgy Rolls.

I got a new computer this week, it's been a challenge with the new lightroom, and a complete mess of files where they shouldn't be, but mostly the fact that my speakers aren't working, well they are working, recognized, but failing to provide any sound that's driving me to complete frustration and distraction - I can't seem to sit at the computer atm without trying so many different things and restarting it about 1/2 dozen times, and getting up 3 hours later none the wiser!

anyway, I was aiming for a "catch" shot this week with Biscuit, but this was the best one I got - will have to try again :-)

the edit is crazy, I hope I can settle into lightroom a little easier soon

Well on Saturday it was ;)

And he is okay :)

Yesterday I was so worried, he had done a very, um, un-hamster like poop, light brown in colour, I was so worried it was wet tail, today the poops have turned to normal, well nearly, they are a bit soft, but the right shape and colour :)

Sorry for going on about poop >.< Lol :)

Camembert Biscuits from Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. They tasted a little bit like Cheese Nips but they were good.

Caught in the act after raiding grandad's biscuit tin, my grandson just played innocent :-)

Sindy was preparing a batch of Shortbread dough when she heard a tremendous racket from the hall and to her amazement a big box of shortbread biscuits entered followed by two little 'uns and a pony.

Cub: Hey Sindy!

Cubby: Look, we brought you some biscuits in exchange for some info. Are you interested?

Sindy: Goodness! That's one big box of shortbread. You must need a lot of information.

Cub: Well it was Barbie who said we should get the big box, due to your large body or whatnot.

Cubby: No I think she said chubby body. Or stout.

Sindy: Ah. *Ironically.* How kind.

Cub: I know right? Anyway, we have a very important question for you which Barbie couldn't answer, hence us being here.

Sindy: Does it have anything to do with that "stout" pony with a branch attached to its head?

Cubby: *Gasp* It's a reindeer, not a pony. And yes it does.

Sindy: *Hiding a smile.* Alright, ask away.

Cub: Did Rudolph go down in history? You know, like the song says.

Sindy: Why that is a good question. You could say the song about him did, but you know he's not a real... oh.

Cubby: Not a real what?

Sindy: Err.. music lover. Yup, never liked the song much. Or people shouting with glee. But he did go down in history.

Cub: Told ya Sindy would know! Barbie didn't know squiddly-doo.

Cubby: Hoorah! You hear that Sir Lancel... I mean little reindeer. Follow his hoofs and you'll be remembered forever.

Sindy: Shortbread anyone? My treat.

his expression when puppy naughtiness is occurring stage left ... I struggled to decide which pic to go for this week, and although this isn't exactly a very pretty one of Biscuit, his ears pinned back, I do like that you can see that light-spot in his eye. He's not happy though about naughty puppy behaviour (Elektra was barking or something)

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic 'Biscuit". This is a rice cracker, seen edge on (after one bite!)

And now, for something completely different. .CRAZY COOKIES.

These cookies are a depiction of Red and White blood cells. Made for a medical lab and staff. Made by C6H12O6 Sweets

Biscuit is about 13 years old, which is elderly for a fox. She's still quite lively though and her face is full of character. Taken on a photo day at the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey.

I had to have Biscuit put to sleep today, it’s a sad feeling and I really did not want to do it. She lived a good, she had a bad ear infection that just wouldn’t go away from a hematoma ear. She was old and it was suggested to either have her ear cut off which was a risk because of her age or having her put to sleep.

I made these to take to friends place for dessert tonight. Chocolate star cookies sandwiched together with melted chocolate. Also made some more with mini m&m's instead of coloured cachous for the kids.

More wide open goodness from the new glass. Uncropped.
