Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
Broken biscuits don't contribute to your daily calorie intake. That's what I think anyway.
Cheesy biscuits on a cheese platter lit with a ring light from the left hand side.
prancing in the afternoon light
got a chance to shoot into the light this week, there were only a few long narrow streaks between the trees that fell across the oval before it got too late, but enough to play with - feels like it's been a while and I do love this style, Biscuit happy to oblige playfully :-)

At each Geyser Basin I'd stop at each geyser and stick around for a five or ten minutes, awaiting an eruption. I did get a few bubbles here and there, like with this one, and a couple of geysers actually spewed hot steam and water about 8-10 feet in the air. Of course, you can always rely upon "Old Faithful" to erupt every 90 minutes or so.
Still the "paint pots" and "thermal ponds" were colorful and vibrant.
I read and saw some video taken about a week or so ago in Biscuit Basin, where a "thermal explosion" sent rocks, debris, and scalding hot water about 20 feet in the air and destroyed some of the wooden boardwalks in the bargain. Wish I'd been there to photograph that geyser! But then again, I really don't want to threaten my life for the sake of my photography. At least the sky was beautiful on the day I went "browsing Biscuit Basin."
Took this shot on New Year's morning just before sunrise. Unfortunately it was not open. A fantastic place to get a biscuit or cinnamon roll. Well known to local residents and a big favorite.
It's snowing outside and seemed like a good idea to make some buttermilk biscuits. They looked so pretty, they needed a picture!
"You gonna share that biscuit?" is what was going through Luna's mind. I'm sure Jodie gave her an itsy bitsy bit ;-)

February 24 is National Dog Biscuit Day, and this guy is making the most of it! Forget about picnic baskets!
Did you know that the first dog biscuits, invented in 1860, were based on the recipe for sailor’s hardtack? At the time, 50 lbs cost roughly an average day’s wages. These biscuits eventually became what we know today as Milk-Bones.
