This Eagle, and all following bird photo's were taken at the "Birds of Prey" Avian Center in Awendaw, South Carolina. This organization does a fantastic job rehabbing these raptors and eventually releasing them back into the wild.http://www.thecenterforbirdsofprey.org/
Sunnyvale, CA. Two local cooper`s hawks are nesting in the neighborhood and spending a lot of time in the trees near the streets, providing some excellent views for passerbys.
It's 12mths since I was taking pics of a family of 6 Ospreys in Hyannis, great sight to see them at close range, with their nest platform next to a public carpark flying about above😊.No such adventures this year😐
Osprey watching me shoot pictures of him. It's eye was piercing right through me! They are not afraid of humans at all so you can get much closer to one than a hawk. Kept waiting for it to grab a fish but after an hour, we gave up and then as soon as we did, of course, it grabbed a fish and flew away! lol
