Eurasian Eagle Owl taken at the Royal Gauntlet in Coweta. This was taken during a photo shoot outing with the Muskogee Shutterbug Club.

This hawk was sitting atop a very tall tree in my back yard and making a fearsome squawking sound. I found out today that crows (of which we have several) ,antagonise these hawks-hence the squawking!

The Great Horned Owl in these pictures was the first owl I had the opportunity to photograph in the wild during daylight, and the first Great Horned I had ever seen in the wild. What a magnificent creature!

I saw this bald eagle swoop down into the Tennessee River and catch a fish for breakfast. I was not expecting to see a Bald Eagle this morning.
