Mom feeding her two babies. The one on the left is larger and more agressive and was getting most of the food. She/he kept knocking the other back, but mom is a good mother and she would occasionally hand a hunk over to the smaller eaglet. After a bit the larger of the two got full and mom began feeding the little guy.

The Lanner falcon is a medium-sized bird of prey that breeds in Africa, southeast Europe and just into Asia. No I haven't been traveling to far off exotics places! This image was taken at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy.
The Red Kite; a magnificently graceful bird of prey is unmistakable with its reddish-brown body, angled wings and deeply forked tail. It was saved from national extinction by one of the world's longest running protection programmes, and has now been successfully re-introduced to England and Scotland.
