One of the most photogenic creatures I've had the pleasure to come across. He sat patiently while I tried to get a shot of him in challenging light. Thank you Mr. Owl.

Red Kite...Harewood House!

I'm unsure of this bird. Maybe a Buzzard? Two of them in the same stand of trees.

I was out for for a drive and saw this fella trying for his dinner. On this occasion, he was unsuccessful but it was quite exciting to watch.

I was trying to some more shots of my little Red Squirrel buddy when this hawk swooped in an laded on my porch railing, not much doubt what he was after as my feeders are right there, unfortunately my presence probably ruined his hunt!

Great Gray Owl behind branches at Golf Dorval, Dorval, QC

I somehow spotted this owl from the highway doing about 60mph and pulled over to grab a picture.

Had the most awesome day at Claire Carter and Hawkeye Bird of Prey Photography Workshop in Thoresby Park. A privilege to get close to such beautiful birds and I learned such a lot about bird photography that I hope I can put in to practice in future. My photos (just a few here out of 100s I took today) are pale imitations of what is achievable but I'm happy with (some of) my efforts with limited kit.
