Barking Owl

Kestrel in full dive. He was after something!

Maybe he is wondering...If I stand on just one foot, does that keep me from getting shocked? And my question is: What is this little bird of prey called? I'm checking on it. Success! Someone has identified it as a male Falco sparverius, known locally as a Quiriquiri. It is also called the American Kestrel.
