Tawny Eagle, Aquila rapax, 74cm / 29in. COMMON. Most frequently seen large brown eagle throughout Kenya. We ate lunch today in the grasslands, but in the shade where there was this single tree for miles around. This bird was above our heads, seemingly not bothered as we had our picnic lunch.
