A whole, very early morning together with Kai sat and got 3 pictures.... one of them is this portrait of a snipe.
1200mm focal length were necessary, also without couch camouflage tent probably nothing would have gone.
Einen ganzen, sehr frühen Morgen zusammen mit Kai angesessen und 3 Bilder bekommen.... eines davon ist dieses Porträt einer Bekassine.
1200mm Brennweite waren nötig, auch ohne Liege-Tarnzelt wäre wohl nichts gegangen.

The Spotted Pardalote is a tiny bird that is most often high in a eucalypt canopy, so it is more often detected by its characteristic call. The wings, tail and head of the male are black and covered with small, distinct white spots. Males have a pale eyebrow, a yellow throat and a red rump. Females are similar but have less-distinct markings.
