Yes, I shoulda had more comparisons with another smartphone. The Bionic was the usual phone at hand. But I was stymied by two or three things:
1) Like most Android phones, the lens isn't nearly as wide as an iPhone lens. So the image sensor is making decisions based on different information.
2) It's much, much less light-sensitive, so has a greater tendency to choose long exposures and make for blurry shots. Not much of a means of comparison. (For the tram photos, I rested the camera on a fixed object).
3) The Android camera app was so finicky that there were many times that it simply refused to shoot. I'd get fed up and give up.
But here's one trio that came out, for whatever it's worth.

A disadvantage of going from 2D to 3D is that you simply don't always have all the body parts you need. She's perfect now though! [insert: evil laughter]
I used Garnier Fructis Style brilliantine shine to give this Bionic Woman a smooth shiny finish. The spray will evaporate slowly over time of course but it gives it a mint in box look.

YES I'M ALIVE. I meant to upload this a while ago but my iPhoto application was being a @$%#&* and quit in 27 seconds. Oh, and Merry Christmas! (And a belated End of the World)
Asmodeus is home and complete after almost a decade!!!! He's been a character I've been looking to house since I entered this hobby over 10 years ago.

Finally someone is filming something on the UBC campus again. The folks working on Bionic Woman took over the area in front of the Chan Centre for a couple of days a little while ago and set up a fake organic market.

After taking pics of Pulsar I thought I'd take one of Steve while I'm at it.
Funny how the bionic eye actually makes things look really really far away. Though I do remember spending a lot of time peering through it.
This one is really minty but the rubber skin on his bionic arm is totally fused to the plastic. Pretty common on all of them now unfortunately...if they have any of the skin left at all.
