In January 2017, we took our first Royal Caribbean cruise aboard "Anthem of the Seas". Anthem was the newest and largest ship we've ever been on. Like all modern ships, she was built to provide a lot of options for cabins, dining, entertainment, relaxing, and just plain fun things to do.
We especially enjoyed watching these robotic bar tenders doing their thing. Watching them "shake" vs "stir" a drink was pretty comical.
Again part of the 3 gen lot...the dress I recognize as Bionic Woman...but is the pantsuit hers? Does anyone recognize it?

Lili Ledy Bionic Woman in Wards Exclusive Fashion by Mego. Mego made a line of fashions exclusively for Montgomery Wards. The fashions were for TV stars, such as Cher (Sonny & Cher show), Farrah (Charlie's Angels) and the Bionic Woman. This is one such fashion. They were sold in groups of 4 fashions via the Wards Christmas catalog on as individually carded fashions in the Wards department stores.
Note: Lili Ledy also produced Mexican verions of the Mego WGSH line. Note that the Lili Ledy version of the Bionic Woman has Mego style arms.

On its second cab, it has moved around the yard a few times but is generally as it left service (apart from the added secondary ventilation.....)
When R. Johnson ceased operations in 2001, this lorry was kept for future restoration.
If anyone is interested then it could do with a new home......
The cab is rusty but the engine runs -
Lindsay Block, a 26-year-old Marketing and PR director for Limbs for Life, picks up bananas with the help of her Touch Bionics i-Limb Hand, the world’s first commercially available bionic hand. Block, who has used a prosthetic limb since she was six-months old, said, “It’s cool how it can adjust to whatever it is grabbing on to.”
Max is actually an Action Man dog that barks when you press a button on his collar, but he's sadly not posable. It would've been nice if he had an articulated jaw. The collar is a little big and not really the same style as Max had (it was a silver collar with a name tag saying "Maximillion" because he cost only a million) but it will do.

Here’s my Cotswold Elite Mike head I got from @pandollop that I decided to de-flock cuz the hair wasn’t doing it for me at all. I reaaaaaaaaaally wanted to put him on a matching body but I got tired of my lack of options so…. I decided to spray paint a frankensteined body silver and slapped on Hip Hoodie’s neck so that this Mike can have a body.
I was gonna just use his default hands that were painted silver but I really love the effect of the clear Obitsu hands and that meant less work so yeah.
Since I didn’t do anything special to his body he’s my first cyborg doll to fully wear clothes lol.

Imagine a world where our refuse comes alive and lives on long after our
presence. New Bionics' otherworldly environment was set in the scene of an abandoned office, full of dilapidated equipment and unkempt supplies. Out of quantities of shredded documents grew stalagmite-like shapes, moss-like textures and grass-like ground cover, reclaiming the office space as their natural habitat.
As visitors explored the space, their presence triggered sounds that mutated from organic (such as birds singing or crickets chirping) to mechanic (such as the sound of a printer). Each sound activated other sounds in the room, creating swells of cascading atmospheric noise.
Lighting was also a key element of this piece. The forms glowed with a luminous pigment, harkening the glow of plankton or the sheen of wet moss on trees. As visitors carefully navigated the space lighting effects are triggered.
The artist was working with businesses to collect shredded paper documents. An
informational booklet, designed for both children and adults, was being produced in
compliment to the exhibit. Children learned about where paper comes from and about
fun paper-craft activities. Adults learned about the environmental impact of the paper
industry, and about creative approaches to reducing paper consumption. The booklet featured photos of felled trees in the Carpathian Mountains.
New Bionics first showed an in-progress incarnation of the piece at the Czech
Cultural Center in Prague, March 1 through April 4, 2012. It then had its first debut at Kiev's first International Biennale, from May 24 through July 31, 2012, at the National Cultural-Art and Museum Complex. Then, from September 7 through 24, 2012 the piece was presented at the annual International event Gogolfest.
