Bionic Woman Doll by Kenner, 1970s, made in Hong Kong.
This 13 inch Lindsay Wagner as Jamie Summers Doll has the earlier, different face compared to the dolls usually seen.
She has a hole in her "Bionic ear"...when her head is turned it emits a series of clicking noises which simulate the "Bionic Ear" !
She also has flippy up skin bits under her pockets which lift to reveal microchips!
She is dressed in her original white jacket with red and blue stripes and her blue Trousers which I bought seperate as she never came with these or her tennis shoes.
I bought her replacement tennis shoes too, Although I am a bit miffed about the company I got them from...
They specialise in vintage toy clothing and assessories and I paid them more than I wanted to spend for these items, as they said these ones were the better condition ones they had I had ordered.
When they arrived, I discovered the shoes had a slight tear at the back of one of them, and the trousers were loose and faded to a almost purple colour...Ho Hum.
This doll does not have the rubber on her bionic arm (which tends to perish) and her hair tends to be a bit wirey, but she's fully jointed and although not perfect, is the earlier harder to find version of this doll!
Her back is inscribed with:
General Mills Fun Group. Inc. 1976, by its division, Kenner Products. Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.

While Jaime practices her bionic hi kicks.... Fembot reherses for her Elvis number....
Jaime models a Kenner prototype fashion, while Fembot dons a Mego exclusive for Montgomery Wards fashion for Cher, Bionic Woman and others... Hair by Brian....
I've repurposed a Barbie thing ( I think it was a wardrobe station of some kind) into what I'm calling a limb calibrator for bionics. I'm still tweaking with it, but basically Steve or Jaime would sit on the bench with an arm or leg inserted into the scanner and then Rudy would use it to calibrate their bionics.
Fiz essa edição porque um amigo meu pediu, como se fosse a capa da versão Deluxe Edition de Bionic, então fiz mais não ficou grandes coisas, queria ter feito diferente, UASHUHASUAS.
Slightly edited shot of myself reflected on a car window in Amsterdam. Taken with my HTC Desire using the Camera360 Android app.
In the last week or so, my body has been preparing for the beginning of the Spring season by pumping out unreasonable amounts of sweat whenever I dared wearing more than a T-shirt, so I gave up on overdressing, and now I have to listen to all the things people are saying to me, the most boring being the standard comments like "Aren't you cold?" (No, I'm not!), "You should wear a jacket!" (No, I don't!) and "Dude, it's Winter, put on some clothes!" (No, I won't!), but last week I was caught off guard by the remark "You must be a Bionic Man!", and I have to say, I realllyreally like that one! So yeah, maybe I'm only part-human, but at least I can wear shirts&shorts for 10 months each year (or rather, I could, if the company I work for wasn't run by this puritane, protestant, stuck-up, scared dude, who outlawed any kind of comfy Summer clothing that shows off any naked skin...when the f**k did the Taliban take over the power in Holland?!), while my fellow Dutchies have to spend considerable amounts of their yearly income on clothing, hahaha :D
Have a wicked weekend!
