Picked up these two gals yesterday. Could not believe They both had blue eyes....The one on the left still has original arm skin and it still rolls up... The one on the right has a larger head and it's "squishy"...and she's slightly taller...

Here’s my Cotswold Elite Mike head I got from @pandollop that I decided to de-flock cuz the hair wasn’t doing it for me at all. I reaaaaaaaaaally wanted to put him on a matching body but I got tired of my lack of options so…. I decided to spray paint a frankensteined body silver and slapped on Hip Hoodie’s neck so that this Mike can have a body.
I was gonna just use his default hands that were painted silver but I really love the effect of the clear Obitsu hands and that meant less work so yeah.
Since I didn’t do anything special to his body he’s my first cyborg doll to fully wear clothes lol.
"Without being too melodramatic about the whole thing, I'm Sarah Corvis.
The first bionic woman.
Ta da."
-- Katee Sackhoff in the Bionic Woman premier
That line was the best moment for me, probably because i love Katee Sackhoff as Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica. My second favorite line was the one right before it:
Jamie Sommers: "What do you want from me?"
Sarah Corvis: "Honestly, I'm not sure. Jogging partner?"
Sackhoff's deadpan delivery is what sells it, though. You gotta watch the clip online if you didn't see it already. Just go to the link, select "Episode 101: Pilot," then "Chapter 5: Welcome to the Game."
I think i'm liking the animation they designed for Jamie Sommers' bionic vision. It was the inspiration for the style of today's shot. (And btw, it was captured in one shot, not composited. Ta da.)
Now i'm just waiting to see more of Will Yun Lee in future episodes. ;-)
Bionic Woman Doll by Kenner, 1970s, made in Hong Kong.
This 13 inch Lindsay Wagner as Jamie Summers Doll has the earlier, different face compared to the dolls usually seen.
She has a hole in her "Bionic ear"...when her head is turned it emits a series of clicking noises which simulate the "Bionic Ear" !
She also has flippy up skin bits under her pockets which lift to reveal microchips!
She is dressed in her original white jacket with red and blue stripes and her blue Trousers which I bought seperate as she never came with these or her tennis shoes.
I bought her replacement tennis shoes too, Although I am a bit miffed about the company I got them from...
They specialise in vintage toy clothing and assessories and I paid them more than I wanted to spend for these items, as they said these ones were the better condition ones they had I had ordered.
When they arrived, I discovered the shoes had a slight tear at the back of one of them, and the trousers were loose and faded to a almost purple colour...Ho Hum.
This doll does not have the rubber on her bionic arm (which tends to perish) and her hair tends to be a bit wirey, but she's fully jointed and although not perfect, is the earlier harder to find version of this doll!
Her back is inscribed with:
