The well recognized and often loud Sea Gull, who was a great model in a parking lot near the seaside, this excellent model was atop a car and I was so focused on the image that it was a surprised so see the driver, a friend that I had worked with at Christies International Motorcars when that division was active, a random moment,
Thank you Art! for the ID on this Heermann's Gull

Back Row:
Kenner Bionic Woman Figures with Mission Purse and NASA track suit in their original boxes. The NASA doll still has her application to join the Bionic Woman Fan Club, which I did. I have the original certificate and sticker and will photograph it what I can find a suitable frame for it. You can also get a peek of my newest Dr. Rudy Wells 8" figure from Big Bang Pow. I always wondered why Kenner never thought of producing an action figure for this character. Probably because there were three different actors that portrayed the character, they probably couldn't decide which mold to make. Oh well, I'm glad Big Bang Pow resolved that for us with making a figure with three interchangeable heads, one for each actor that played Rudy Wells on TV.
Front Row left to Right:
Steve Austin in his undercover OSI mission outfit. Next is Jaime Sommers with hazel eyes wearing a fashion called Peach Dream, which resembled her dress from the episode Bionic Beauty in her 1st season. Next up is a Bionic Woman 1st edition with blue eyes wearing a designer budget fashion called Party Pants. This figure still has her original rubber roll up sleeve which I managed to keep in great condition. Today, I would dare attempt to roll it up for fear of breakage but thanks to a few collectors who have managed to duplicate Kenner's recipe for her rubber arm (as shown in the next and final figure), I'm not worried too much.
We move on to Katy, one of the rarest and most expensive figures in the Bionic Woman toy line with two detachable face plates, one resembling Jaime Sommers and the other Janice Whitby, the actress who portrayed Katy, Dr. Franklin's 1st fembot. What a shame that there wasn't a Peggy Callahan doll but she was a tiny thing anyways. She was, however, Jaime Sommer's best friend and Oscar Goldman's secretary.
Finally we come to another 1st edition blue eyed beauty wearing a customized black suit with a black & white neck scarf. This figure represents the Bionic Woman when she was resurrected during the premiere of the 3rd season of The Six Million Dollar Man called The Return of The Bionic Woman when Steve and Jaime infiltrate a refinery owned by Carlton Harris. I basically took her mission jumpsuit and used a poly dye black, a pair of black loafers from a Ken doll figure and a random neck scarf purchased on eBay. Let me add that the 1st generation Bionic Woman figure had a tendency to break at the foot, a costly kink in the doll by Kenner that was corrected in the later versions of the figure.
The rest of my photos are various angles of my collection. Some of my un-pictured playsets include the Bionic Beauty Salon, The Bionic Woman Sports Car (Why red, when Jaime drove a metallic blue Datsun, now Nissan 280Z, The Bionic Woman board game, A custom Maximillion dog, The Six Million Dollar Man's Bionic Transporter and a whole mess of misc. fashions and accessories I purchased and am playing around with. I hope you enjoyed my photos and will continue to add new ones as time and money allows.
I really like this moose and wouldn't mind having one in my back yard (although perhaps a smaller version). Sculptues made of recycled/found objects are just plain cool! This one is often enjoyed by me as I drive back from a nature walk at nearby Koher-Andrae State Park.
Updating my Flickr with Bionic Lego custom models. This is Steve Austin's villa. The model is based on the Big Jim Kung Fu club from the same era. Now instead of being a place for training it's a place for fun with the best 70's technology.
Jaime and Steve remember Christmas 1977 just before they smooch under the mistletoe.
Jaime: "Remember Christmas in '77? We were a hot item."
Steve: "Yeah. I wonder if Rudy could give us an upgrade?"
Jaime: "I could use Windows 11."

All mechanical systems require fine-tuning once in a while. Working on my arm is always challenging because it often requires more than one hand.

I got this ornament in the mail today... part of a Christmas gift from a friend. My second Bionic Woman ornament this season.
A night on the town. Jaime Sommers in her Silk & Satin Pantsuit and Steve Austin wearing his denim OSI mission suit with a custom brown dye Oscar Goldman shirt.

Before Hiro on Heroes, there was Steve Austin - The Six Million Dollar Man. Before Buffy Summers on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, there was Jaime Sommers - The Bionic Woman. Now, television's classic wonder people of the 1970s are back and stronger than ever in - THE BIONIC BOOK: THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN AND THE BIONIC WOMAN RECONSTRUCTED, written by best-selling author Herbie J Pilato (Bewitched Forever, The Kung Fu Book of Caine).
Co-billed as the Cybernetic Compendium To TV's Most Realistic Sci-Fi Superhero Shows, THE BIONIC BOOK is chuck full of commentary culled from Pilato's exclusive interviews with Bionic stars Lee Majors (who played half-superman/half-mechanical marvel Steve Austin), Lindsay Wagner (Jaime Sommers - Steve's female counter-part and one true love), series creator (and science fiction novel icon) Martin Caidin, executive producer Harve Bennett (who would later help to ignite the Star Trek feature film franchise), producer/director Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk and Alien Nation) and actor Richard Anderson, the latter of whom portrayed Oscar Goldman - Steve and Jaime's stoic but understanding supervisor on both shows (and who has penned the book's foreword).
Much more than a mere TV trivia guide, THE BIONIC BOOK explores in-depth the social, psychological, medical and scientic influence, appeal and message behind two of the most popular and heroic science fiction television programs of all time.
