Technically this new Majorette VW Golf GTI and others in the associated VW series are available at UK ASDA stores but their distribution is terrible. Most of my stores don't stock them and the ones that do sell out almost immediately and don't restock for months on end! Ridiculous considering the obvious demand!
Obviously in France things are so much better and I was able to find them with utmost ease.
A very attractive and crisp representation of the first generation Golf which Majorette have already given various exciting recolours. Working suspension, clear lense headlights and an opening bonnet are obvious attractions.
Found in an E.Leclerc recently.

1960 Volkswagen
The winningest vehicle in Baja history, the Bilstein Bug was built and co-driven by Doug and Don Robertson. It won more than 30 races and was named SCORE's overall points champion in 1977. The Volkswagen Beetle became a popular vehicle to modify for desert racing because it was affordable, relatively simple to modify, and offered unusually good traction because of ot's rear-engine configuration.
