Leopard, so well camouflaged.

The male Lion in the early morning sun at Disney Animal Kingdom.

We were on the look out for Black Rhino, and saw this big male lion who seemed pretty annoyed that we'd disturbed him.

This cheetah had been showing her cubs how to hunt. A gazelle and a zebra had lucky escapes!

Cats seem to be experts at relaxation, whether big or small. I was happy to let Naphisa's beauty and soft tranquility wash over me and soothe my soul.

I have thousands of images stored on my hard drive. A recent attempt to organize them uncovered many that were somehow left unprocessed. These rare beauties were photographed in the Singapore Wildlife Reserve in 2007.

This is one of the two lions that decided to settle next to my car. He sat there, and kept his eyes on the grazing Impala. He would look at me for a moment and get back to stalking the antelopes. This was an experience of a lifetime, and my heart rate was rising with excitement.

So majestic! This leopard was in a tree in the Serengeti. Unfortunately, he/she had just killed the three cubs of a cheetah who was not far away, staring forlornly at the tree.

One of my favorite animal portraits. Hope this capture brings to light the diminishing lion population in the wild. I was born in Angola Africa in 1970. That year my dad use to tell me you could hear the lion’s roar. Fast forward to today lions no longer exist in the area I was born.
