New and improved version: the purple shows where we want Longtail to step, but he is not going for it.

This beautiful Tiger is at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. A fabulous animal charity who are contributing massively to global conservation. Such a necessary thing when you realise this Sumatran Tiger is on the critically endangered list!

A magnificent animal, a large cat

with rosette markings, hopefully will be a mate for the Black Jaguar Mowgli in the next year or so.

Lion - the king yawns

This is the oil painting that I am using on my business cards at this time. It's only 6 in by 12 in. It's oil on dream camvas (a Nylon canvas). I hope you enjoy my paintings.

These tigers show thier ability to ignore silly humans.

(My blog post on the experience odditory.livejournal.com/23353.html )

Only known from descriptions, albino and "maltese" (blue-grey) cheetahs have been reported in the Asian cheetah population where they were kept as hunting animals. Unfortunately cheetahs did not reproduce well in captivity and continued hunting all but eliminated the wild cheetah population, along with these colour mutations.

Pacal's paws. Pacal is the male jaguar at Zoo New England's Stone Zoo. He originally came from Guatemala years ago and has been a valuable participant in the Jaguar Species Survival Plan. He is 15 years old.

A few adolescent brothers were housed together at the Philadelphia Zoo at one point, and they were really reaching the end of their tenure together. As tigers age, they become solitary animals, and this was definitely apparent with the youngsters while they played. Although it made for a great spectacle, some of the tigers were becoming very agitated by their brother's antics. The tiger crouched in this shot continuously antagonized his brothers, and couldn't seem to figure out when to stop. © 2010-Current.

Lion - Brother and Sister

Certainly not the background I would have preferred, but in zoos, beggars can't always be choosers. Still, considering it was shot at an angle through glass covered in sunny reflections, it didn't turn out too bad. Just thought it was a nice moment shared by mother and one of her 3 cubs.
