Male lion crosses a river. the lion growls at the water as it crosses. This crossing took about 5 minutes, he really wasn't happy.

Nowhere near as sharp as I would have liked, but beggars can't be choosers when shooting through grubby, scratched glass with glaring reflections!

Here you go--a great photo of a snow leopard in the wild. It's our photo of the month for August.

She would sleep on us at night, and around during the day. Just fed here, she passed out in the hallway.

Два ночи, котэ отчаялся поспать и участвует в движняке из последних сил. Честно отработал котом всю ночь, хотя пару раз просто вырубался на середине движения.

Когда в доме даже кот привык соблюдать режим....

A female, adult snow leopard to close out this batch of zoo animals. She had recently had a cub and looked exhausted with its antics, but she was always pretty patient. And how about that tail? It is longer than their bodies to help keep balance on the rocky outcroppings of their natural environments. © 2013-Current.

Lions in the landscape

Chiang Mai, Thailand, February 2016

A real old bruiser. The longer I know lions, the more they frighten me, and the more they appear in my dreams.

I feel like we still intrinsically recognise our old predator.
