A perfect day for a late summer bike ride finds my trusty Bianchi Volpe cooling its heels at Greenstreet Road in rural Manitowoc county. This was MP 89.7 on the CNW shoreline sub and the location of a hot box detector. Looking north towards Maribel.
I bought my first road bike (Bianchi Campagnolo Veloce, fully lugged, 440 chromoly steel frame) back in 1997 (Albuquerque NM). I've ridden over 3 thousand miles on it, and counting!
Other than wearing out tires, I haven't had a single problem. Thanks Bianchi for building a quality product!
Not my bikes, wish they were. I found these Bianchi's on EBay a couple years ago and just had to keep the photos. These Celeste beauties are rolling art and that is how I appreciate them. The hand shifter is from the 1930/40's and the other is from the 50's.
