Ann Arbor July 28, 2009:

Once Upon a Time,

there was another world far

from this here

A world where few could find.

Wars were waged, songs were song, and tales

were told of this faerie land.

DO you my friend, do you have one?

oh my goodness... I've been trying all day to get a whisper image and finally this one just came together for me.

Two layers of KK's Happy Heart, and one of Embrace, a pioneer woman's action "Soft and Ethereal", and that's really it, aside from shooting in RAW and tweaking it in there to get the colors to pop first.

A walk through big ice covered mountains, rivers, wild animals,Kids, chicken, home made wine, tea, sun to keep me warm, and my weapon canon 550D, a unforgettable trek memory, last night settled in Nagarkot, a hill town 7 hours away, and set out very next morning, armed with bag pack and a cigarette packet. That afternoon I was feeling grateful I were Finished with mothers love, I am sure in whole journey I got the only one click which is everything for me, and this will be the life time favourite for me. A Dream in bright day what was that spark, deep beyond love,innocence,feelings... I was the Kid...Where are you maa?? —

LCC's Screen School presents Beyond 2001: New Horizons, an exhibition that explores how activating the archive can creatively enable the development of new work and inform ideas.

Celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Stanley Kubrick Archive at the University’s Archives and Special Collections Centre, students produced and show work alongside invited artists and academics that offer new perspectives inspired by archive material from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

A cross-school collaboration celebrating all things screen, the exhibition was set in motion with accompanying performances, events, panels and workshops, punctuated by screenings for staff and students.

Contemplating the next move in the plan of life is something we all do.

And when one is amidst the things from the past, a legacy left behind, something par excellence, it makes you stand up and notice not just the big things in life that come your way, but also the little things which may seem mundane, monotonous and trivial, that in fact make up the essence of life and living it.

The ruins that house the Qutb minar en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qutb_Minar are marvelous - the carvings, the stones, the pillars, arches - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G :) They weave a story, enthrall you, seize you in the stories and leave you spell bound and gasping for more.

The more time you spend there, the more you want to know, the more you delve into the meaning of life and what lies beyond living it.

As my cousin (in the pic) and I walked past the ruins, oohing, aahing and talking, I couldn't help but take a pic of his as he illustrated his take on the marvels that make a legacy.

"Beyond the edge of the world there’s a space where emptiness and substance neatly overlap, where past and future form a continuous, endless loop. And, hovering about, there are signs no one has ever read, chords no one has ever heard."

What lies beyond the fog? I can't help but think that this what was going on in my friend's mind as he stood looking out from the foggy shoreline back in 2003. My friend is gone now and I am the one left wondering, what lies beyond the fog?

Beyond The Sunrise - by Belle & Sebastian

Joseph was travelling with a heavy load

His dreams were broken and deep sorrow flowed from his brow

Closer to sundown he prepared to rest

Set down the burden,

Lay upon his chest

Then she came

Sir, come to me and I will keep you warm

Taste hope in my skin and faith with the dawn

You will rise

Beyond the sunrise that is where we live

Feeding our counsel and true comfort give

Travelling men

Joseph was sure the liquor had caused this dream

His eyes were sure that heaven was not her scene

She was no saint

Sir, come to me and I will keep you warm

Taste hope in my skin and faith with the dawn you will rise

Bought my new camera today, must be the happiest person in the world.

Love him (:
