The HPE was the shooting-brake version of the Lancia Beta and was introduced in 1975. In the 1980's the car was renamed H.P.Executive. About 70,000 HPE's have been built until 1984.

Scavrat Captured Beta.
When I built the Archon Beta, I knew I wanted to build more than one. This was a great opportunity to return to one of my favourite #darklegacies factions, the Scavrats. I added a bit of steampunk flavour to this build, with the bolt launcher and exhaust, which is truer to the original source material. It also has a Sisterhood Lantern of Revelation up front to ensure no invisible demons can sneak up on the pilot when working the carrion fields.
This build is complete but also a WIP, as I have a bunch of old dark gray parts coming in from BrickLink and I may replace the left arm cannon with an arm/multi-tool. I also need to get to work on my new custom base so I can do some proper photos.

My Beta Right Side is for a Teal color honoring Ovarian Cancer Awareness Color Competition, from Animorphia by Kerby Rosana, Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils, Tombow pens, blending with Prismacolor light colored pencils.
Seeing this really made my day, this has to be the best kept classic I've seen while in Greece. This Beta was all original, and looked to have been recently detailed, as the interior was as immaculate as the exterior. It even had the original owners manual on the back seat, which I tried to photograph, but due to the sun all I got were pictures of my own face reflected in the window.
This colour isn't one I've seen before, all the other Betas I've seen (all of which have been coupes) have been dark colours. Does anyone know is this is an original colour?
I think this is probably my second favourite find from Greece, behind the Toyota Crown.

In protest at the awful changes I will not be uploading or commenting for a few days from tomorrow. Have created an ipernity account in the meantime.... maybe see you there!
