- Much like birds, the fish wouldn't take direction very well. I had to superimpose the fish from another frame to make this image the way I envisioned it.

I decided to return to Scheat (Beta Pegasi) tonight. I had observed it the previous evening, and I thought it would be worthwhile to give it another look while the conditions were still fairly good. From Ottawa, I was working under Bortle 7 skies, with 3/5 seeing and 4/7 transparency. Not perfect, but certainly good enough to keep the DWARF Mini busy.
I used the DWARF Mini with the Astro Filter, shooting 15-second exposures at a gain of 60. I planned for 238 frames and collected 225, exactly the same number as my previous observation. That gave me another 56 minutes and 15 seconds of integration time.
Scheat is an interesting star to come back to because it is a semi-regular variable. Nothing dramatic happens from one evening to the next, of course, but that's actually what makes repeated observations worthwhile. I'm beginning to think of these sessions less as attempts to get a great image and more as little snapshots of the sky at a particular moment.

Moderus Beta MF10 and MF11 trams started service in the Upper Silesia metropolitan region in 2020. Totally there are 13 unidirectional MF10 units and 2 bidirectional MF11 units in use. They are single section, partially low-floor vehicles with 15 m of length.

Before the graduation ceremony the other day, we met with our daughter and others that were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa there at UMBC. Took this capture afterwards in the UMBC Library where the induction ceremony took place. Liked this spot off to the side with the lighting and photos on the wall. Used a little bounce light here as well, but not much was needed.
These fish are very colorful and often have ability to change colors. This one clearly is showing greens blues and gold.

Marking the "head" of Cygnus the Swan Albireo or Beta Cygni is actually the fifth brightest star in the constellation despite its "Beta" status.
The image shows the golden orange colour of Beta Cygni A with the blue-green colour of the secondary Beta Cygni B behind. The separation is only partially resolved due to the short focal length used in imaging. Whether these two stars form an actual binary system is unknown. The pair make up one of the most strikingly contrasting coloured double stars known.
