Abused, Abandoned Jungle Dogs.
Today is Thursday the 8th of July.
On Saturday the 10th we plan
to make a run for the temple.
All the temple dogs will be
given their monthly injections.
Also Yo-Yo will receive her last
puppy shot before being spayed.
At this time the 17th has been selected
as the day for her spay operation but
it has not been confirmed as of yet.
On a very serious topic ---
Covid-19 is exploding all
around us right now !
Wave after wave !
So,
we aren't going out except
for the run to the temple
on this upcoming Sat.
As for this photo ---
This is one dog I really miss.
Mr Rocky and I have a
special bond just like
the bond I had with
his Dad, Mr Brown.
Thank You.
Jon&Crew.

If I were voting this extremely good looking 1964 Mustang would take Best in Class. It was a sweet ride and great looking inside and out. The rust exterior gleamed in the sunshine and the cream interior and wooden steering wheel complimented the exterior. Well done!! This fine ride was seen at the 2022 Cars in the Park car show in Shawnee Mission Park in Shawnee Kansas.
The original Ford Mustang debuted on April 17, 1964, at the attractive price of $2,368. Dealers were inundated with requests for the sleekly-styled new vehicle. In Garland, Texas, 15 customers thronged to bid on the same Mustang. The winning bidder resorted to sleeping overnight in his new car so that it wouldn’t be sold out from under him before his check could clear.
Ford initially forecasted annual sales of about 100,000 units. On the first day alone, dealers took 22,000 Mustang orders. Shortly after its introduction, the fledgling vehicle’s success was official when it was featured on the racetrack as the pace car for the 1964 Indianapolis 500. During the Mustang’s first 12 months on the market, sales grew to an astounding 417,000. Within two years, sales had catapulted to one million.
When the Mustang was unveiled, the reaction was so positive that there was no doubt it was going to be a success,” recalls Joe Oros, chief designer of Ford’s original pony car – dubbed the 1964½, because it was launched at an unusual halfway point during the year. Gale Halderman, one of the designers on Oros' team, was blown away by the success even though the engineers, test drivers, and prototype builders all had told the design team that they could tell it was a special car.
Anzac Day, 25 April, is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand forces during World War One and commemorates all the conflicts that followed.

My old pony, Sandy- enjoying the snow in front of the house a few weeks ago.

gemma and her best friend....separated by 18mths and a whole lot of ocean and still as close as ever :)
I wish a certain someone was looking at me! ;)
This bluejay was showing me his best side this morning. They always chase all the small birds away. But they sure are pretty.
My image for Egyptian pyramids at night taken at Mokattam mountain in Cairo.
Foreground was a stack of around 14 images ( different exposure times and iso values) with canon lens 100-400 mm to form HDR image with multi row focus to reveal the details as much as possible especially for the pyramids which are located in very light polluted area.
I waited for the best time to take these images and follow with weather forecast to see the day which has the lowest dust concentration in air and best air quality to shoot the pyramids from this very far distance ( around 20 km).
For the sky image its a stack of 20 images at 5 seconds ISO 200. by canon 200 D camera.
For the comet Leonard its a stack of 120 images at 30 seconds gain 120 by ZWO 294 mm pro.
Just sharing a card made for my beach friend. The only HA stamp used is A4981 It's your day. The bottom part of the card is acetate. I used the top part of swirl inside to hide the adhesive for the clear acetate.
This card was inspired by NIchole. See here: nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2008/11/intro...
P.S. I made this card a while back. I think it's boyish and manly enough for this week's challenge. It's neuter, right?
After a long winter Full of bad news, the Covid pandemic Lockdown, self isolation, Mental health issues, I could go on.
It was a great to be able to look forward and get out with the camera and photograph one of my interests on my favourite heritage railways . The Severn Valley railway. .
I chose this as my Best shot of 2021 as it was a beautiful warm sunny spring day, at a superb Location and things were begining to look up as Covid vaccines were being rolled out across the world to combat the pandemic, and this was the first shot I took that I was fair pleased with.
Thanks for all your Views, Comments and Faves over the past year.

A pair of Florida East Coast SD40-2s bask in the harsh Florida sunlight on the 4th of July. Wearing perhaps the best paint scheme on a SD40-2 in 2020, this pair was quietly waiting out the holiday.
Despite what the Flickr map says, this is the FEC shop in New Smyrna Beach, not a Florida trailer park.
A little more than 30 minutes later, that blue sky changed to some very angry clouds and the drive north on Interstate 95 would have been easier in a motorboat.
(Continuation. Please see the previous images at the Sitting on Top of the World album if you feel like that).
Once upon a time, back to that far, far away, unbelievable, pre-war 2021… Looking at these photos, it seems that it was even pre-covid times… At that unbelievable times Maria dropped by to Ivanovo from Vienna on vacation, because it was rather dull in Vienna (everything lockdowned, streets are empty), and it's fun here (everything opened, streets are full of unexpected friends). I caught her accidentally on the street. She could be seen from afar. Very Viennese. Almost too stylish for this street. Almost too real. Shortly thereafter Maria visited me with her ex-classmate Tanya. They sort of hated each other at school, but became best friends later. The day before yesterday was Maria’s birthday. She rather would not drop by to Russia right now, however much she wants to see me, however much I want to see her.
We have to stop this war.
(To be continued…)
