Two of five 310-tonne boilers made a slow journey from Berkeley Power Station on the banks of the River Severn to Sharpness Docks in Gloucestershire.
The 72-feet long boilers will make the journey to Sweden via ship to be decontaminated and the steel recycled. Berkeley Power Station, one of Britain's first nuclear power stations, was decommissioned in 1989.

CEID (Center for Early Intervention on Deafness)
CEID is an inclusive program that provides a wide range of exemplary services and supports for families to maximize the communication potential of children, from birth through age five, who are deaf, hard of hearing, and/or have severe speech and language delays.
CEID's philosophy believe in a "Total Communication" approach, which combines spoken English, hearing aids, and Signing Exact English (S.E.E.).
Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) is a sign language system in which signs and finger spelling represent the word order, grammar, and vocabulary of spoken and written English. It’s different than ASL (American Sign Language), which has it’s own grammar and syntax, as all sing languages.
Local: Berkeley, USA

sailing through the gap in the Berkeley pier saturday, on our way to the Gracie and George race...
as late as the 1950s, I think?, Berkeley had ferry service to SF, but the water close to shore is too shallow, so they had this long long LONG pier, something like two miles out into the water -- no more ferries now, & the thing is half-fallen down, but the rest remains -- makes for our very own Stonehenge-like structure, & something to avoid while sailing... (this one gap is Known to be safe)

Interesting little Food Delivery robots and likely some proseltyizers. Google sucks now so it's hard to figure out who they were. The signs say "I have good news" and "I have bad news"
