Taken last weekend when we had a rare covering of snow. With the rise in temperatures the snow disappeared as quickly as it came.

I took this while at a restaurant called Jack Allen's, located in south Austin.

The sign says, "Careful, snakes and poison Ivy"..:).lol..Welcome to Texas.

I found this bench in a fish restaurant called "Kreefhuis" in Lambert's Bay, West Coast, South Africa.

"Kreef" is Afrikaans for "crayfish". It's their speciality

I can recommend this restaurant, seafood dishes there are excellent!

The long shadow at late morning over fallen leaves deceives the eye - it was decidedly chilly.

Margaret and I spent a few pleasant, meditative moments on this unique old bench at the east end of Belle Isle.

Nathaniel and I went to visit Cat today as it's three months to the day since she left us. We took the opportunity to plant lots of bulbs and wild flower seeds that we have been given by our friends so springtime should look lovely.

As you can see the bench has arrived exactly how Cat wanted and it just happens to be a Monday too - I just knew we had to do a Bench Monday for her!

The text reads:
