Happy Fence Friday to my flickr friends,,,, it was a perfect day to explore Sedona,,, the scenery is breathtaking! We loved this path leading to Bell Rock,,, wishing everyone a good weekend and thanks so much for your visits,

On the way to the fish shop this morning I noticed this lovely old bell on a wall. On a dull morning this little gem made my day instantly brighter.

In one of the many Chang Mai temple's

One of the bells for which the campanile serves as home. You can see that the bell mounts have to account for the lean of the tower, with one side of the arch notched lower than the other, and the arch carved out to accommodate the mouth of the bell.

It is amazing to me that, although the tower started to lean early in construction, there was never any consideration of halting, correcting, or starting anew....they simply finished the construction with the lean, and accommodated to achieve the function of being an operable bell tower.

A plethora of bells in the Hallgrimskirkja Bell Tower. It's located at the top of the hill in downtown Reykjavík, Iceland. From here you get a great view of the city. Shot with a Rokinon 12mm lens in manual mode with lens set to off at about f/17.

This shot from our birding this morning in Mesa, Az. It seems that Bell's Vireo, along with Lucy's Warbler are the most common of the migrants in Maricopa County right now. Unfortunately I did not observe whether this Bell's had a "tail wag" or a "tail bob", which I am told may determine the subspecies. Next time....

In the morning the other day I found this little bell flower on a meadow near my local lake.

Old genuine brass bells with red ribbon, they are quite heavy. Background is a puzzle and some tealights.

A bell, colloquially known as gong, bell, jingle. Device for ringing. Small chrome-plated metal goblet with a clapper. Electrically operated by a push button on the front door.

Nostalgia knows no limits.
