A Child’s behaviour builds the personality. It is important that the right kind of atmosphere is provided at home and school for the ‘wholistic ‘development of a child’s personality. Parents and teachers play a key role by helping cultivate certain key characteristics in children that stay with them for a lifetime.

Instilling a sense of gratitude in kids can seem like a difficult task. However, it need not be so. As a parent you can do a few simple things, on a consistent basis, that can help your child realize the meaning of being grateful.

This gull was flying around with a large stick in it's beak. It then tossed it up in the air and followed it down and grabbed it. It then flew back up to about the same height, and then did it again a number of times.

These two pairs weren't happy neighbours. They started to do this head nodding "thing" for a while until hostilities broke out and one got thrown out of the nest (it was a good shot but a bit too blurry). After that it all settled down again..

I always think birds doing this look like they've gone into a trance. They just sit there, wings spread out, eyes wide but unseeing, absolutely unmoving. Very strange!
