A few weeks ago, I posted some information about the dangers linked to the mistaken interpretation of ocular data.
While data capture is greatly facilitated thanks to companies like Tobii (I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole Tobii team for its in-depth work on hardware eyetracking), the analysis of data requires thorough knowledge of the perceptive-cognitive system.
Unfortunately, nowadays to make eyetracking popular, the software on offer is too simplistic to draw reliable conclusions.

"the behavior of chaotic systems appears to be random. This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future dynamics are fully defined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved. This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos"

While I was watching one snipe in a big puddle alongside the road, another flew in and landed near it. The one originally there raised its orange tail plumage and slowly walked the other one out of its territory, sort of like an escort. It was really cool to see because it wasn't you're regular "Get out!" display. Universal Mine. Vermillion County, IN

In this panel, Colin Camerer, Andrew Caplin, and David Laibson—leading behavioral scholars whose work includes innovations in subdisciplines like behavioral finance and neuroeconomics—will join us to explore how their research has given valuable insight into economic models of human behavior. Discussion will focus on how new insights from behavioral research can be accommodated in more traditional models, and the areas in which behavioral economics can most helpfully challenge orthodox views on economic behavior. The panel should help inform audience members with backgrounds in economics and related fields on how to incorporate behavioral insights into their programs of study and research, and understand more broadly how this increasingly popular field has enriched the field of economics.

Odd Earring -- Odd Behavior -- Odd that I would allow myself to be seen this way! :)
After I lost an earring to a recently purchased and beloved pair, I had to go out and by another pair so I could still wear them. The question is...what to do with the odd one. :)

This video shows the relays under dim lighting. You can see the arcs more clearly.
I noted that the relay having the diode parallel to the coil appears to have bigger sparks.
The switching should oscillate at about 4 second time intervals. This video shows that the coils tends to be energised very quickly and so the dc motor cannot switch rotation directions. At times, you can see that the relay switches on and off in time intervals of about 2 seconds but when the coil is de-energised in this 2 second, the dc motor does not turn the opposite direction and it stalls instead.
