Watch as Mona rubs and licks on the lid of a wooden bowl which contains salt. Anna was surprised that I didn't stop her from licking our salt bowl, but I had to explain that Mona holds all the cards in our family and is not subject to the normal rules governing pet cat behavior.

The RBT accreditation will be in charge of executing, not planning, the behavior plans designed by their supervisors. Our training is designed around the RBT Task List and meets the BACB’s RBT requirement of 40 hours of training.
Venturing ever further south, we spend five days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, barely 100 miles away from the equator. It's quite hot, difficult to navigate, but intensely fascinating as one of the first Muslim cities we've visited.

Loaded with food, the Egg-cersizer spills a reward as it's rolled along the floor. It's adjustable to make it harder as pets learn to use it.

My dad might refer to Nano mostly as "Asshole" but he's not above bribing his affections with slivers of feta cheese. Or teaching him to JUMP for food. Thanks, dad.
Playing around with a new softbox, and got a new profile pic out of the deal.

Imagine my elation upon discovering that I had mis-ID'd this Northern Goshawk as a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk, until I looked closer. It does not have a dark patagium (leading edge of wing) and the tail banding is too broad. (I sent the photos to 'a higher authority' for verification). In this panel, Colin Camerer, Andrew Caplin, and David Laibson—leading behavioral scholars whose work includes innovations in subdisciplines like behavioral finance and neuroeconomics—will join us to explore how their research has given valuable insight into economic models of human behavior. Discussion will focus on how new insights from behavioral research can be accommodated in more traditional models, and the areas in which behavioral economics can most helpfully challenge orthodox views on economic behavior. The panel should help inform audience members with backgrounds in economics and related fields on how to incorporate behavioral insights into their programs of study and research, and understand more broadly how this increasingly popular field has enriched the field of economics.
Taking photos at the HAGENBECK ZOO in HAMBURG; GERMANY. It was so fun going with BINE & DANI to the beautiful animal-focused zoo in Hamburg. We saw some incredible exhibits that really focused on the keeping the animal in a comfortable enviorment.
We laughed at the baboon exhibit because a little baboon was putting a blue DALLAS cap on its head. someone must of leaned over and it fell into the exhibit.
Little did we think anything could top that until we saw a large male baboon playing with a LUMIX CAMERA that also fell into the area.
Baboons are great mimics of human behavior and he put it up to his face trying to figure out why the humans seem to be so facinated with this object. Talk about 'found object' photo op.
Going to the cotton candy and popcorn maker brought back memories for me. My first job was working at the San Francisco Zoo as such. Of course, I purchased a cotton candy for $2.00, such a deal. 'This is perfectly made!!', I exclaimed, and the young ladyl smiled. Yes, I had to take a photo with her. afterall, us cotton_candy makers stick together like, well, cotton candy..
Hey everyone! Well, sometimes nature leans to behavior that may seem odd or even gross to us...and firstly, I certainly hope that this series of shots doesn't bother you or gross you out...that would never be my intention! This is merely a natural occurrence with pelicans when their lower lip beak pouch is inverted...it was my first time observing this behavior and caught this series of shots...I thought it too unique to ignore...pelicans are amazing...and observers of nature must be prepared to see anything!
