Beginning of the inkle band. It's just a little shy of 8' of a variety of pick-up patterns, some designed by others and others designed by me, all with the intention of stretching skills, leaving all the mistakes in for learning purposes.
Night shift begins with a walk down this timeless and anonymous corridor. Fluorescent lighting destroys any sense of meaning, time or place... It's as if we have our souls stripped away as we descend into the bowels of The Machine...
And then it's over, I drive home in the blinding sunlight and hide from a new day.
This photo is again very typical of my daily journey to work. They are building a giant highway to connect Bangalore city center with the electronic city town… this car journey is as chaotic as it gets! cows roaming freely, people walkin everywhere, etc… This part of the road is my favorite… this is a slight calm moment before chaos goes full scale! because this is were the traffic really goes mad!
It is from there you need to hold your breath, grab your sit and enjoy the beginning of the ride!!!! :o)
Flowers represent the beginning of new life, with the pollen being spread. Life always has a beginning and an end, but the continuity of the cycle is so beautiful
A Bad Beginning
This is book cover art for the first book in the Series of Unfortunate Events books. From the eye on the ankle to the book, glasses, spyglass, and newspaper, almost everything in this image has some relation and purpose to the book. Specifically, I tried to portray the main antagonist, Count Olaf. He sits at a desk planning his terrible scheme. That was taken at a low aperature and 1/60 shutter speed at my desk indoors.
Beginning late February early March 2018, Brampton Cumbria was affected by a cold wave, dubbed the Beast from the East by the media. It brought widespread unseasonably low temperatures and heavy snowfall to large areas of the UK.
