From a neighbors bee hives building a new nest in a cherry tree.

Spring is in the air... Bees are buzzing... Flowers are blooming... Clark had to be very patient with me on his walk today. I was stopping every few feet to take photos along the way!

I found this bee in the garden

This shot shows Buzzy with his snoot well plugged into the nectar points !

His whiskers are a bit dry and droopy. Hope they perked up later !

TITLE: BEE: (Andrena chrysosceles) MALE 1, FOUND ON DANDELION. NOTE "Males have the surface of the clypeus whitish with two black spots combined with orange hind tibiae (a combination unique to this species). " (Steven Falk, Flickr).. Andrena chrysosceles is a species of mining bee known to be susceptible to Stylops infestation. This individual shows sign that something has entered its abdomen between the tergites.

This was taken on the Weddington Walk in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The first attempt at this photo, using auto focus, had the bee slightly blurred in the background. I actually think i prefer the other photo, i'll upload it at a later date.
