I have been thinking about this a lot lately. It seems like all around us we all have family members, friends, and/or close acquaintances that are struggling and many of them losing their faith along the way. This quote is so good because it reminds us that the gift of trying again is a great gift from God. Everyday we should thank our Father in Heaven for a new day and another chance to be just a little bit better today than we were yesterday. This life is the time for us to learn to love God and to love to live His life by keeping the commandments He has set forth. If we make a mistake, it is not final, just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again with renewed resolve that this time is going to be better. We all can come unto Christ in our own way and even by small baby steps, but let's make sure that we are at least stepping toward Him. Let us try again to be better and the Lord will bless us with added strength and determination. He had given us the Light of Christ (our conscience) that will not lead us astray. Let us listen to it's small voice in our minds and then obey and we will find that we can hear better the next time. I love the Gospel of Christ with all my heart and know that we all can try again and when we do, Christ will be there speaking encouragement in your mind and thoughts and guiding you back to Him.

We will not forget

What is memorial day, it is a day to remember those that fought and died for our freedoms. I have the utmost respect and love for those who have served our country and gave the ultimate sacrifice, even their own lives, in defense of our liberty.

Dream of the filthy water and entering paradise

If I remember correctly I drew this sometime in 2013. Below is my journal entry I made on May 5th 2015 about it.

I had this dream probably like 13 years ago and a few years back, I decided to draw my dream. It started out as just a great desire and longing of my heart to actually draw my dream, but the Lord blessed me and I was given the ability to get this far. It miraculously turned out way better than I could have dreamed. I am not an artist and this was my very first attempt ever, so for it to just come together was definitely a miracle. I still have to finish putting myself in the picture. It is really hard for me to draw people, but someday, I will draw myself as I pull myself out of the water onto the bridge.

Let me take a quick moment to bare my testimony of this great man. I chose this quote because it has a powerful meaning. Lorenzo Snow reported a day when someone came and asked Joseph Smith, “Who are you?” To which he replied, “Noah came before the flood. I have come before the fire.”

Mosiah 5:15

Let us never tire being obedient to the word of the Lord. When we do this we will find that our ability to be steadfast and immovable becomes greatly enlarged. Then will all our works be the works of righteousness and we will become disciples of our Christ.
