A lovely morning that with no one else in this beautifu Cholla cactus garden in Joshua Tree National Park. No dramatic clouds but the apenglow had painted this land purple and these cute plants were just wakening.

Ahh a short break from Kansas to focus on Eastern History. Well what we have here is a Very Rare US large cent Copper created on the year yes yes---1796 . This coin was made by hand from fine art carfully etched into the die and them hand punched with a screw press. I find this coin beautiful and had to get one with the most detail and as early dated as possible. This design carried on until 1807 and a new face was put on the cent. --- Well as im proud to have such a coin and decided to show in to the world--that indeed there were beautifuly created designs even way back then.
Saw this beautiful Vette, at the Art and Wine festival in Sunnyvale today. It was a small Corvette show. This one is 19 years old, and looks like new. Those pipes sound great.

Another Singapore Land Authority Secret location. This is SP Jain School of Global Management at 10, Hyderabad Road. A heritage site and it used to be the Dental Institute in a lush environment. Before that, it was the Alexandra Barracks. The probable origins of the road’s name would be the Russell’s Infantry’s 95th Battalion, who were stationed at Alexandra Barracks from 1905 to 1908. The British Indian Army unit traced its origins to one of two Russell Brigade regiments raised in 1813 by Sir Henry Russell – the British Resident of Hyderabad for the Nizam of Hyderabad’s Army. Besides Hyderabad Road, a Russells Road can also be found in the area – all of which was once part of Alexandra Barracks.
I did a very long piece. Too ambitious on site and talked too much to friends in the next group touring the place, so after one and a half hour, I only managed to complete the outline in ink and added the shadows on location. Details especially the trees were added at home.

This afternoons shoot was great fun. After 18 months of not being able to go and mix with others it was great to go and mix with like minded people and document this very rare and beautifuly restored aircraft. proper photos to follow.

Coming out of the St. Paul Hotel after lunch, it was pouring rain when I stepped out under the hotel's portico to see this shot of Landmark Center.
It's a beautifu structure with a long history that includes being a US Post Office, and beautiful wooded courtrooms. Now it houses a variety of arts oriented offices and organization. It also is a venue for chamber music, weddings, and large dinners.
Look at the goodies i got. Not a great pic (so it doesn't do them justice) but there was a serious lack of light when i got home! I got a pillow, a cute little case for my mobile phone and a plastic grocery bag holder and she even managed to make these in the midst of earthquakes! It was all beautifuly wrapped up in orange pez fabric. Thank you sooooo much Kellie! :-)
