Team Dingle Adventure Race, became Irelands Leading Adventure Racers, at The Beast of Ballyhoura - Adventure Racing European Championships at the weekend. The Team included Noel O’Leary, Ailise Deane, Caroline Bullard and Stephen Tabb. Teams from 15 different countries, competing in a non stop 72 hour endurance race, with a distance of 450km, which started at the historical 12th century Curraghmore House, Co Waterford.The race continued until Sunday evening in Kilfinane, Co Limerick and included, mountain biking, coasteering, mountain navigation, including the Comeragh Galtee and Ballyhoura Mountain Ranges, kayaking, trail runnng. The Head Quarters of the race is University of Limerick. Team DAR scored an amazing 35140 in a time of 72H and 46M with one hours sleep attained during the four day epic adventure. The winning team were Adidas TERREX from Britain with a score of 36530 time of 71Hr and 23m.Photo:Valerie O’Sullivan/NO REPRO
A ravenous mystery beast attacked our back porch and tried to make a midnight snack of the mini Nerf. Apparently it was not tasty enough.

First time in Montana and I finished the Spartan Beast course. It was a challenging course with lots of elevation changes and trail running
