Heres the colour version, I feel i needed a little more time on the actual taking the image maybe an HDR would have been better but unfortunately, my little missy does not have time to wait. as a large lake was near by I didnt want to risk her wandering off

This were taken a while ago on King St. East near the St. Lawrence Market. I didn't find out what they meant. They're a temorary exhibit and no longer exist at the site.

The Sami [Lapps, Lapplanders] hunted the bear but were afraid of its mighty spirit. Bear hunts were surrounded by rituals . . . So begins the commentary below this bear skull at the Norwegian Folk Museum (Norsk Folkemuseum) in Oslo.
My other hunter, Jesse Hotter from Montana, killed his 9'+ 26" skull boar about halfway down from the saddle on the mountain on the left side of this photo on day 6. Mark Knaupp could have killed some bears in this camp area, including a giant boar, but he had really rubbed his hide severely so we passed. Mark later killed his bear on day 13 at our next camp.
After climbing with snowshoes for 4 1/2 hours, this is the other bear that was near the unrubbed bear we were after. We let him pass by at 200 yards. Hopefully we made the right decision! We are 80% done with our stalk on the bear we want.

We treed a sow and two cubs (one was a little higher in the tree.) Took some pictures and then pulled the dogs off and went on our way.
Linnhe, four and a half, is off school today with a temperature after her swine flu jab yesterday. She's been playing with her computer, and showed me this. She's drawn a picture of the first part of 'Going on a bear hunt' - the swishy swashy grass.
I'm really impressed!
Saw two wolves walking down the creek while I was bear hunting. Didn't get the camera out in time for them, but tried to get some cool pics of their trail.
