We put away our tele lenses and forgot about bears for a short while as we took the pontoon boat on a landscape cruise.

The street it is quieter than usual, but on the river we can see a lot of traffic.
Social media had asked to organize a game for children during the Corona period. We had to put a bear in our window so that the children in the neighborhood could go "bear hunting". Here's our bear. Look out, it is very dangerous!
Parks and playgrounds are closed, but on windows sills all over the world you can see bears, in all sizes. Children can go 'bear hunting' but still keep safely the 1.5 meters distance.

Radcliffe thought he needed something... to compete with Bernie's party hat I guess....so I found him a pair of cool sunglasses... it gave him quite the swagger....

Bernie and Floppy wish you a Happy Easter. They keep changing things up a bit in the windowsill.....to keep the kids interested and also to keep themselves entertained.... . bears and bunnies do get bored easily and then....well, then...... they are just a nuisance.

Inspired by the ten BW images which I shared here on Flickr over the last ten days, I continue my BW journey.
During these uncertain times of dealing with the Corona pandemic, we tend to be very creative. Like this teddy bear hunting thing.

After handing over (family) presents on Easter day through the opened window (we never entered the house obviously) and while looking back as we left, I spotted more than one teddy bear in the window ...
No, don't worry Bernie....I cropped you reeeellll close and made sure it isn't visible..... all they will notice is your cute little face and your fancy party hat..... keep waving.......
Poor Bernie.... I fibbed .. ... ....I do feel a bit bad now that I look at that trusting face....

The world wide phenomenon of placing bears on houses, fences and by the road side for children to spot while going for a walk during these times of Covid-19 lock down is such a nice thing! spotted this one today!
Ready for the great bear hunt. We stay at home and look down from our window for children passing by to discover us!
Spectrum Bear should be half a mile upstream in Kingston upon Thames, being a member of the Bear Art Trail inspired by Michael Rosen's "We're Going On A Bear Hunt". Having been thrown in the river by vandals, then rescued by paddleboarders, its seen here awaiting transport back home.
That did it...... the other guys decided to sit on the far side of the window.... just in case. Elmo switched allegiance. Earlier he had been sitting on Radcliffe's lap, but the mask has him a bit worried.
You can see bears on windowsills all over the world right now....it's a "thing". My neighbours have some in their windows too now...

We visited the scary critters on our terms - not worried that we'd be visited by them at night, when they got hungry
