bei nicht so schönem Wetter

Mit den Aufnahmen zur Blauen Stunde wurde es ja nichts.

Kurz bevor der angekündigte Regen kam, gab es aber doch noch eine recht interessante Lichtstimmung; fast so, als käme ein Gewitter.

So habe ich doch noch ein Panorama aus drei (Hochkant-) Aufnahmen erstellen können. Das Distagon 40mm f/2 CF eignet sich dafür sehr gut. Im Gegensatz zu den Loxia 21mm und 35mm vignetiert es fast nicht. Bei Panoramen mit letztgenannten Linsen muss ich, trotz aktivierter Korrekturprofile in LR, bei den Übergängen am Himmel und ggf. im Wasser deutlich mehr nacharbeiten. Das ist beim hier eingesetzten Objektiv aus der Batis-Reihe nicht erforderlich; i. Ü. beim Loxia 85mm f/2.4 ebenfalls nicht.

Bei dieser Aufnahme habe ich, im Gegensatz zur vorherigen, einen etwas engeren Schnitt gewählt.

Das fertige Panorama misst übrigens 10990 x 4446 Pixel; die erkennbaren Details sind schon faszinierend. Es lohnt also, mal kräftig in die Aufnahme hineinzuzoomen.

I wasn't expecting a foggy morning on this morning, but it made for some interesting photos. The Stillwater Lift Bridge, on the Saint Croix River. The fog is obscuring the hilltop that is the Wisconsin bank of the river.

This Beautiful old township hall is near Paulding and Bruce Crossing in Michigan. An overcast day with its lower contrast really allows the shadows to open up and play nice with the rest of the building.

Lockport Marketplace, in Lutsen Minnesota since 1928. Gas, groceries, breakfast or lunch along Highway 61, on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

A cool morning, the sun just up but still had those beautiful blue shadows of the early morning in winter.
