The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing. The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level.

I spent three days at the city of Bath, UK.

I attended my son's graduation from The University of Bath.

What impressed me the most there was the beautiful old Architecture, the river and the great numbers of seagulls filling the place with their sounds every morning and afternoon. This image sums everything up...

Over thirty years since class 33s were regularly seen in Bath, West Coast Railways 33029 heads through the city, running wrong line to to signalling problems, with the 1Z33 0527 Crewe-Weymouth Branch Line Society railtour on 23 March 2019. Class 47 no. 47851 was on the rear.

Like the Celts before them, the Romans built a public bath on the site of the mineral springs. The part shown here is a 19th century construction; the baths used by the Romans are in a lower level.
