I captured this scene of the iconic Pulteney Bridge spanning the River Avon early one morning in Bath, Somerset UK. I really liked the framing of the surrounding trees as well as the lovely soft light on the Bath stone buildings.

Scorched Bath... The extreme heat has certainly given the vegetation around Bath a battering... But the heatwave did give us a couple of intense sunsets 🌄. Here is my carousel from Saturday evening overlooking Bath.
Cloud inversion over Bath November 2020. Normally from here you can see the Crescent and Abbey but for this shot they were totally covered by the early morning mist trapped in the Bath basin

The Garrick’s Head pub and Theatre Royal at night.
The Garrick’s Head pub was the former home of Beau Nash; unsurprisingly, it’s a grand building with stately proportions.

Baths majestic architecture of 1767. Thirty houses form a huge arc united by giant ionc columns. John Wood completed this work in eight years adding to the work of his father before him, an architectural visionary of his time. They were responsible for the design and building of much of the old city.

"Bath U.K"
"Bath and the stunning countryside surrounding it is one of England's most beautiful places to visit.
Bath, England, is a unique city; its hot springs, Roman Baths, splendid Abbey and Georgian stone crescents have attracted visitors for centuries. Set in rolling Somerset countryside, just over 100 miles west of London, it is a beautiful and unforgettable place to visit."

This guy was the real deal. Not only was he brilliant on the trumpet, his whole personality spoke of a life in jazz.
Stumbled upon this quiet street scene one sunny afternoon back in 2018 whilst wandering the beautiful City of Bath in Somerset, UK.
Struck by how the late afternoon sunlight added it's own subtle flavouring to an already richly colourful scene, it was a frame I was glad I made.
