This basil is inside the garden fence. You're getting the weird perspective because I am leaning way over the fence and to take the picture straight down.
But, seriously, I put things in the ground, and they grew bigger. Magic!
This basil originally came from the famer's market. We'd gotten basil to eat, but didn't finish them all. We left a few stalks in a glass of water, and they grew roots. There are three cuttings growing in this pot. They look droopy, but after it rained, they perked up.
We'll see if they end up doing alright in the pot or not... It should be more productive than the eggplant :)
I bought basil pot from Trader Joe's and transplant to my planter. This planter also has Italian parsley and oregano.
