This is a basic rain barrel by Aquabarrel.com. The inlet equals the outlet for volume of water to be allowed to overflow after barrel is full. Garden hose connects at the bottom of the barrel.
basic hardware (aluminum strip, handle, nuts and bolts) hold the contraption in place as a single unit. A liquor bottle box, chosen and purchased for this purpose (cheap liquor tossed, box coveted), painted black, keeps out the reflected light.
My goal was lightweight contraption, small enough for my purse. The cameras used are point and push Leica D-Lux 3 (on macro setting) with a base camera Anscoflex.
