I sketched the main design while I was camping last week, so maybe those triangles could be tents, though not my intention. For the other designs, I drew inspiration from an old atlas.

OK, start of the big nostalgia trip in the next few pages. Basically, I have to scan, and start putting that shoe box of old photos to good use.
este logo esta inspirado en mi tema que es los tejidos del sudeste asiatico. lo cuales son una de las mas fascinantes herencias culturales de la region. la tecnica utilizada es el IKAT Con esta técnica se tiñen los hilos antes de tejerlos. los diseños producidos mediante esta técnica parecen estar fuera de foco y a menudo semejan los que aparecen en las pieles de los reptiles. es por eso que mediante mi diseño trate de representar la textura de los diseños ikat.
The School begins classes once each year, early in October. Students are divided into sections of 12 students each, and get two hours of classroom instruction and six hours of shop instruction per day, Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Basic Boatbuilding is the focus of the first semester, which runs from early October to late December.
The instructors assume that most, if not all, students have no woodworking skills and proceed from that assumption. The skills taught in the first semester are those essential to boatbuilding, and the course, for that reason, is very "hands-on".
Students learn to sharpen and use all their tools, and participate in a wide range of individual skill-building exercises, from learning to make the joints commonly used in boatbuilding to a series of tools. Students learn to draft and make a half-model. Then, working in pairs, they learn to loft a boat full-size on the floor. Finally, working, together as a team, the semester culminates in December as students work together to build a flat-bottomed skiff.
This is a student's shoulder box, or tool chest.
The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is located in Port Hadlock WA and is a private, accredited non-profit vocational school.
Our mission is to teach and preserve the skills and crafts of fine wooden boatbuilding and other traditional maritime crafts.

Print sizes will be 100cm X 60cm, 50cm X 50cm and 45cm X 30cm. also I'll be making collections of 4 images 9cm X 9cm in a strip in magnetic frames.. Further details to follow: all will be limited first editions with exact details in the catalogue.
It has never been a strong point for me and I am still learning a lot in terms of post work, but I wonder now why I never really got round to it.

No sentido horário, a azul foi a primeira, fiz molde, ficou um pouco estreita, meio torta, sem etiqueta.... Fui aprimorando, a vermelhinha já ficou mais retinha, as alças grandes demais. A tutti-frutti o zíper ficou pra esquerda, a etiqueta qse foi esquecida, tive de refazer a costura e ela ficou estreita.
...Mas a cada trabalho vemos evolução!
Na multicolor, mudei o lugar das alças, fiz o acabamento na argola com botão de pressão (e um pingo de superbonder pra nunca abrir), o zíper ficou do lado certo e tb gostei do lugar da etiqueta!

his hair is kanekalon which i am not particularly liking. The rest of him is cute :3 but I think basic doll-wise, i like the GB version better. it's the hair x.x

Clothes by five designers whose work defines contemporary Dutch fashion will be on view in Arnhem from Saturday 2 June through Sunday 29 July 2012. Objects, photographs and scale models created by product designers, photographers and architects will also feature in the exhibition Basic Instincts: Dutch Fashion in Context, hosted at the Eusebiuskerk by Premsela and the Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem. Basic Instincts first appeared in Berlin in July 2011.

Iris van Herpen, Oda Pausma, Monique van Heist, Klavers van Engelen and Anne de Grijff design garments that are sometimes sculptural but often surprisingly wearable. All of them have a strikingly individual style and a distinctive take on fashion. Likewise, the product designers, photographers and architects in the show have more in common than they might appear to: each works out of a strong personal vision that guides him or her through the creative process. Basic Instincts reveals the Netherlands' unique fashion and design culture in six varied exhibition landscapes.
1. Semester BA

During this class we had to draw geometrical forms, mostly boxes,
for weeks. It startet with parallel boards, later parallel stacked boxes were added, even later non-parallel boxes and then finally some triangles and ellipses.
After that some weeks of nude life drawings followed.
At the end we draw some more "free" stuff like bikes, skeletons, cloths.
Additional we had to work at our sketchbook after class.
